Caring for each other in our community: that’s what our Westmoreland County historic and cultural sites and events are all about. I was lucky to talk this month with the Greensburg Civic Theatre and the Greater Latrobe Laurel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Knowing live theatre is returning to our region brings me great joy! This month’s episode begins with Margaret Ryan, secretary of the Greensburg Civic Theatre, giving an overview of the updated rehearsal process for two upcoming shows as well as ticket and performance information. She also shares ways to support Greensburg Civic Theatre in between performances.

Our second guest was Briana Tomack, executive director of the Greater Latrobe Laurel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce. Connecting with the local chambers is especially important for small businesses during this time. Be sure to listen in for Briana’s advice on how best to utilize the chamber to get vital information regarding COVID relief, grant opportunities, and more.

And we end the episode with a word from our sponsor, Saint Vincent College, about the college’s free, one-credit spring 2021 courses offered to accepted high-school students.
