MWA is partnering with the Allegheny Land Trust to host a 2-hour environmental education training through Project WET.

Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education curriculum that builds on children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Through a wide range of activities and experiences, Growing Up WILD provides an early foundation for developing positive impressions about the natural world and lifelong social and academic skills. Growing Up WILD is a multi-award winning curriculum having received the 2009 Family Choice Award and the 2011 Renewable Natural Resource Foundation Excellence in Journalism Award.

This is a hands on workshop and all participants will receive the Growing Up WILD curriculum guide for attending.

ACT 48 and PQAS Hours available. No walk ins will be permitted.

This program is generously sponsored by Bayer and EITC funding.

The cost to participate is $5.00 – this covers take-home curriculum and materials.
