Join us for opening night of the 55th anniversary season with brilliant young pianist Janice Carissa performing Rachmaninoff’s soaring, monumental Piano Concerto No. 2 considered one of the best pieces of music for piano ever written. The evening opens with two themes of love and conflict - Khachaturian’s Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia and Tchaikovsky’s dramatic tale of forbidden love Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture. Conducted by Daniel Meyer, Artistic Director.
