Robert J. Cook Memorial Civil War Demonstration

Rostraver Township Historical Society is proud to present the Robert J. Cook Memorial Civil War Demonstration held on the historic Cook Farm. Featuring a live Civil War canon presentation by Knaps Independent Pennsylvania Battery. Also a performance by the Mon Valley Academy For The Arts Regimental Fife and Drum. On hand also will be Civil War re-enactors performing various rifle drills. A food truck will be on site and a 50/50 drawing will be available. Come join us for a very special afternoon of entertainment. Gates will open at 2PM. Entrance fee is $10 for Adults, children under 12 is admitted Free.
If the event is rained out , the event would take place a week later on 8/19/2023 same time.
This special event is part of Rostraver Township Historical Society’s special programming to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Westmoreland County this year.
