We are within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in downtown Latrobe. 512 vacation rental units offer the old world Victorian charm with a modern urban flair. We're less than half an hour's drive to Arnold Palmer's Country Club, Idlewild & SoakZone Amusement Park, the historic town of Ligonier, Fort Ligonier and an hour's drive to many of the attractions in the Laurel Highlands.
We offer two lodgings on the second floor above 512 Coffee & Ice Cream shop. 512 is a place to meet, chat, and tell a story, have a cup of coffee and much more. This unique venue is housed within a 19th Century renovated home boasting many of its original amenities and architectural details with an eclectic decor. Stop in on your way out in the morning for your favorite Java or tea along with a pastry or avocado toast. When you get back later that night ice cream treats will be waiting for you to purchase from cones and milkshakes to banana splits and the shop specialty an affogato! In case you didn’t know an affogato is a scoop of vanilla ice cream with two shots of espresso poured on top of it.
Two Bedroom Apartment:
Our apartment offers two queen bedrooms, one full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and living/dining area. Flat screen t.v. and wifi are also provided. There will be plenty of room to roam in the two bedroom second-floor apartment with a convenient laundry room accessed through the large master bedroom. Feel free to go downstairs and sit on the covered porch or lounge in the coffee shop. There’s plenty of seating and many good treats for you to enjoy just a few steps from your home away from home. We also have a large backyard where you can walk your pets and sit and enjoy the sun or on Saturday nights sit beside the fire pit and make some s’mores.
Efficiency Apartment:
Our efficiency room offers its own kitchenette and a private bath, perfect for the traveling business person or couples visiting the area while working remote and touring the country. It’s within walking distance to the Latrobe downtown business district, Amtrak Train Station, and Greyhound Bus stop. Perfect for traveling nurses with Excela Health Latrobe Hospital a ten minute walk away.
The covered back porch along with the outdoor seating in the yard is always open and available for our guests to sit and chat also stop inside the coffee shop where you’ll find many varieties of coffee and tea drinks and a wide selection of Kerber’s homemade ice cream. Relax in the lounge or reserve the Shakespeare Macbeth Room with the coffee shop staff for some private time to sit and chat with friends or have a business meeting.
