Welcome to Garden in the Woods, tucked away on two acres in the Bear Rocks Community, just a short drive from Acme and other Laurel Highlands attractions; Frank Lloyd Wright at Polymath Park, Treetops Restaurant at Polymath Park, Stone Villa Wine Cellars and Tattiebogle Ciderworks. This unique property has stone walls filled with succulents in the warm months and extensive gardens with meandering paths. The home was on the Greensburg Garden Center’s Garden Tour in 2017.
Garden in the Woods was officially formed in November 2018 after Glenda’s husband built her a “she shed” with heating and air conditioning so it was able to handle projects all year round. The name came from a rustic sign her husband made – “Glenda’s Garden in the Woods.”
