Explore and Relax in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands

Westmoreland, Somerset and Fayette County, which comprise PA's Laurel Highlands, are entering the green phase of Pennsylvania's plan to reopen PA on June 5, 2020. This new normal will allow visitors to return to our region safely and provide the best experience to help our local shops, attractions and lodging resume operation.

What does the green phase look like?

Businesses may still act and look a little different. We ask for your patience as local businesses adapt to provide you with the best and safest experience possible.

The safety of our visitors and community remains our top priority during the green phase. Please adhere to all guidelines wherever you explore, maintaining social distancing and and following all mask, hygiene and occupancy requirements. If you don't feel well, the Laurel Highlands will still be here to welcome you when you feel better.

How can I plan my trip?

Yough Lake Campground Cabin

At this time, we strongly recommend calling attractions, restaurants, lodging and other properties before your visit! Even if it is a place you visit each year, many attractions have new hours, operate at 50% capacity or may require an appointment. Plan for a successful trip with a quick phone call before you visit, or give us a call at 724-238-5661 for additional assistance.

Campgrounds are open, roomy cabins are ready and our hotels are operating with new cleaning procedures. Our restaurants are open for takeout and as many as possible have added or improved outdoor seating. We highly recommend making reservations wherever you travel so that our attractions can provide the same high quality and friendly service you've come to expect in our region.

There's great deals on travel throughout our region! Check out our coupons page for the best summer deals, and be sure to check websites of the places you're visiting for additional offers.
