SOMERSET – The Fifteenth Annual Laurel Hill Bluegrass Festival occurs August 19 & 20, 2023. Admission is FREE. This is an outstanding community event held at Laurel Hill State Park. The festival includes a re-enactors village, food vendors, local artisan vendors, children’s activities and sensational Bluegrass Music the entire time. The Friends of Laurel Hill sponsor the event. Many local businesses and organizations lend financial support to the festival to continue to keep this fun, free event open to all.
This year we will NOT be providing a large tent and chairs for visitors to use. We welcome festival participants to set up an individual pop-up canopy for shade and comfort. Please be sure to bring your own chairs and or blankets to sit back and enjoy the scenic mountainside at Laurel Hill State Park.
The Mountain Laurel 5K starts at 8:30am on Sunday morning. This 5K course is unique. It offers some of the most magnificent scenery in a 5k race. You can register for this race as a walker or runner.
Be sure to stop by the Friends of Laurel Hill tent to get this year’s Laurel Hill Bluegrass Festival t-shirt. You may need it to continue your collection or to get one started, either way it is a must have!
