Rules and Guidelines
By submitting an application, the applicant hereby agrees that all original photographs submitted shall become shared property of the photographer, who still retains copyright, and GO Laurel Highlands® in perpetuity. GO Laurel Highlands reserves the non-exclusive right to use any photograph(s) in its publications or other promotional purposes including promotion of GO Laurel Highlands and Discover Westmoreland. GO Laurel Highlands does not sell any original images submitted by the photographer. By submitting this application and photo, the applicant also acknowledges that any persons appearing in submitted photograph(s) have given the applicant and GO Laurel Highlands consent for reproduction and promotional use.
*** All photos must be taken in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania.
Cash prizes for first, second and third place will be awarded in three categories, and the winning photos will be featured in the Laurel Highlands Destination Guide, on golaurelhighlands.com, on social media and in special exhibits throughout the Laurel Highlands.
Only photos taken in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania (Fayette, Somerset and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania) will be eligible. Use of watermarks on the photo is prohibited. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of submission.
Deadline for submissions is Dec. 31, 2026.
Only full color, high quality, and digital photo submissions will be accepted. Black and white photos will not be accepted.
