African American Art in the 20th Century at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art - Feb. 28 - May 10
The Westmoreland Museum of American Art's new rotating exhibit, African American Art in the 20th Century, is a part of the Smithsonian American Art Museum's collection. It features 42 paintings and 5 sculptures by 32 African American artists. The pieces of art were created during the Harlem Renaissance and the Civil Rights movement, making them extremely powerful and meaningful. Admission to the museum is free, so there's no excuse to not check it out!
Leap Year Party at Greenhouse Winery - Feb. 29

Snowshoeing for Beginners at Forbes State Forest - Feb. 29
Winter can't stop you from exploring Laurel Highlands state parks! Forbes State Forest will be hosting a Snowshoeing for Beginners program to get you acquainted with the activity on an easy 1-mile walk. Before you embark on your trek, forest staff will equip you and teach you about the history of snowshoeing and other important details! If there isn't snow on the ground (fingers crossed), participants will take go on a brisk walk!
Seventies vs. Eighties Dance Party at Vinoski Winery - Feb. 29
Celebrate the leap year at Vinoski Winery and you'll forget which decade it really is! It's a battle between the 70s and 80s, so pick your favorite decade and dress like you're living in it! DJ Sosa Smooth will be playing your favorite hits from days gone by and the winery will be giving out prizes to the best dressed. Don't miss it!
