New Crescent Brewing Co. is named, in part, as a homage to the brewing tradition in our town of Irwin. Crescent Brewing Co. operated at the corner of Pennsylvania Ave and Main St from 1903 until 1919. The brewery closed its doors with the onset of prohibition and never opened them again. One hundred years later, small batch brewing is back at home in Irwin, Pennsylvania.
At New Crescent Brewing, we strive to offer a wide variety of easy-drinking beers, from crisp light lagers to dark malty stouts to intensely hopped IPAs (that we ourselves tend to prefer). We are committed to a rotating tap list to keep things fresh and your taste buds interested.
