The long awaited hotel in Connellsville broke ground in early February with the help of a $500,000 loan from The Progress Fund. The hotel will serve the Greater Connellsville area, with easy access to nearby attractions like Fallingwater and Ohiopyle. For trail users on the Great Allegheny Passage, this will be a very convenient overnight stop on their trip. The bike trail goes right by the hotel's front door.
This $5 Million project was also funded by The Reinvestment Fund and Bridgeway Capital. Twelve new jobs will be created in Fall 2016 with the opening of this new hotel.
Cobblestone Hotel and Suites specializes in small hotels in rural markets so you'll receive "Big City Quality, Small Town Values" each stay. The hotel will offer 54 mid-priced rooms with free breakfast, a pool, and meeting rooms. Read more.
