Outdoor Mountain Adventure PLUS Summer Festivals of Fun are Back!

SEVEN SPRINGS, Pa. – Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Pennsylvania’s Outdoor Headquarters announced today that Summer Adventures opens for the summer season this Friday, May 28. The resort offers mountains of fun for the entire family, including the All-Day Adventure Pass offering unlimited access to more than 10 adventures including the Alpine Slide, Alpine Tower, Chairlift Rides and Rockwall, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and more.

New to the resort this summer is the Foggy Goggle Axe House. Inside of the beloved Foggy Goggle, guests will be able to test their lumberjack prowess with the ever-popular axe throwing in one of eight lanes featuring projected targets. Guests will now be able to throw some axes and enjoy a fun time in the Goggle before or afterwards.

The resort also added the aptly named Trampoline Thing where guests will be able to jump and flip as high as 24 feet in the air with the ability to do flips. This is a “must-try” for all ages. 

Guests may find gold at the resort this summer as the newly opened Seven Springs Gem Mining makes its debut featuring lessons in geology and nature. While guests sift and shake their tray in the sluice, flowing water reveals amethyst, rose quartz, emeralds and more!

Guests can take a shot at Sporting Clays, play a round of mountaintop golf, hike the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail, relax poolside at the Bavarian Beach and so much more.

KIDS MUD ON THE MOUNTAIN – Saturday, August 14

The Kids version of Kids Mud on the Mountain

The Kids’ Mud on the Mountain adventure obstacle course shares many of the adult version Mud on the Mountain obstacles, some scaled-down versions of classic obstacles, and some new fun features. Obstacles include kid-friendly hurdles, mud pools, cargo nets, a foam machine and more.

Registration is open to participants ages 8-17 who will be divided into three categories: Junior, ages 8-9; Tween, ages 10-12; and Teen, ages 13-17. Participants in the Teen category will kick off the event at 9 a.m., taking on a 3.5 mile course with 19 obstacles. Tweens will begin at 11 a.m. and complete a 1.15 mile course with 13 obstacles. At 12:30 p.m., the Juniors begin a 1.15 mile course with eight obstacles. All three courses are easily accessible and visible so parents can watch their child’s progression and cheer them on.

THE 28TH ANNUAL WINE FESTIVAL – Friday, August 27 – Sunday, August 29

A Celebration of Pennsylvania Wines

The biggest end of summer garden party one can find and a tantalizing experience for any wine lover, this exciting weekend showcases wines from all over Pennsylvania! The festival features complimentary wine sampling from 30 wineries, daily seminars and live music throughout the weekend.

MUD ON THE MOUNTAIN – Saturday, September 4

Seven Mile Course Through Pennsylvania’s Most Challenging Terrain

Mud on the Mountain offers athletes a chance to get down and dirty atop the beautiful Laurel Highlands. Across more than seven miles of body-breaking terrain runners will traverse ponds, scale boulder fields, climb their way over obstacles and claw their way up impossible inclines. Runners can fabricate how fast they ran at the Recovery Party in the Foggy Goggle.

FOGGY GOGGLE CONCERT SERIES – Fridays and Saturdays ALL SUMMER!

The Foggy Goggle will be open all summer long!

 

Already known as the best ski bar on the east coast, Seven Springs is opening the doors to the Foggy Goggle all summer long and nothing goes better than the coldest beer on the mountain than live music. Every Friday will feature the area’s greatest acoustical acts playing outside the Foggy Goggle. Each Saturday the resort will host some of the best bands in the region. Guests will be able to purchase food and drink from both the Foggy Goggle and Emo’s BBQ Pit. Axe Throwing and Lawn games will make the evening complete.
