The Greensburg Art Center and the Greensburg-Hempfield Library are pleased to announce the first art exhibition to be held at the library for the 2025 season. The paintings of artist, Thomas Tholen, will be on display at the library from February 6 through March 12, 2025, during regular library hours.

This is in conjunction with the joint venture of the library and the Greensburg Art Center’s program, “Picture This at the Library.”

The exhibit, entitled, “Trains, Faces and Places” is part of the Greensburg Art Center’s outreach effort.

A reception for the exhibit will be held on February 7 from 6-8 PM and is free and open to the public.

The painting below is a recent oil painting of his grandniece, Jaynee, in his neighbor’s garden. The painting is currently hanging in the Valley Art Association "Spring Show " in the Mansion in Hagerstown Park. His landscapes, portraits, and train art may be seen on Facebook, and at the Members’ Exhibit at the art center.
