Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands was featured as the setting for Episode 4 of the ABC reality series “The Bachelorette,” on June 7, 2016. The spotlight will continue to shine on the luxurious Nemacolin Woodlands Resort as Episode 5, set to air at 8 p.m., Eastern, Monday, June 20, features Bachelorette Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher and her suitors back at Nemacolin, where the story continues to unfold.
Maggie Hardy Magerko, Nemacolin’s president and owner, is a long-time fan of the reality series, which is now in its twelfth season. “For a long time I’ve thought that Nemacolin would be the perfect setting for ‘The Bachelorette.’ Nemacolin is ‘luxury with a whimsical twist’ and in my opinion, so is the franchise,” Magerko says. “Plus, we offer something for everyone, so we were thrilled to be able to work with the show to highlight some of our amazing amenities while creating a fantastic experience for their cast. I am ecstatic that the spotlight is shining on Nemacolin and that our vision and our associates’ hard work is getting some well-deserved, international screen time.”
In anticipation of fans’ desire to visit the resort that played host to “The Bachelorette” and to inspire them to have a romantic experience of their own, Nemacolin unveiled a brand new “Red Rose Romance Package.” Starting at $1,536 for two guests, the package includes three nights’ luxurious accommodations, a red rose and champagne welcome amenity, the choice of dog sledding or Jeep off-road driving experience for each guest, breakfast for two each morning of the stay, and red rose petal turndown each night.
