Laurel Hill State Park has announced plans for its Youth and Family Summer programs for 2024, including Art in the Park, Exploration Evenings, Paddle Camps and Trail Trekkers.
Art in the Park
Create art through outdoor exploration. This program is designed for youths 8-15 years of age.

Exploration Evenings
Bring the whole family on a weeknight excursion in Laurel Hill State Park! This program is designed for children and their families. Enjoy crafts, nature play, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Stop by the Laurel Learning Lab on select Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.

Summer Youth Programs at Laurel Hill State Park on the Water!
Kayak Camp
This program is designed for youths 9 to 13 years of age. Participants will learn boating safety, proper paddling techniques and fun kayaking maneuvers!
Friday sessions from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 28 or August 9
Program fee: $5 per person Includes all needed equipment and lunch.
Paddle Camp
This program is designed for youths 9 to 13 years of age. Participants will learn the basics of paddleboarding.
Friday session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 26
Program Fee: $5

Trail Trekkers (ages 9-13)
Come join a youth trail crew! Throughout this program, participants will learn and develop trail etiquette, outdoor leadership and stewardship skills.
All sessions are from 10 a.m. to noon.
