Join us at West Overton Village for a celebration of Pennsylvania whiskey, past and present. The evening brings together ten distilleries from across the state who are carrying on the tradition of distilling whiskey in Pennsylvania. Enjoy tastings, cocktails, and bottle sales, along with food, live music, and a basket raffle. The Whiskey Smash is named for the Whiskey Smash cocktail, which visitors can enjoy at the event.
Visiting distilleries will be stationed throughout the Museum at West Overton Village, including Dad’s Hat Rye Whiskey, Liberty Pole Spirits, Park Family Farms Distillery, Quantum Spirits, Red Pump Spirits, Rusty Musket Distilling Company, Stoll and Wolfe, Tall Pines Distillery, and Wigle Whiskey. Additionally, West Overton Village’s educational distillery, operating as the West Overton Distilling Company, will be open. The educational distillery produces its own brand of traditional Monongahela rye whiskey, the first made at West Overton since Prohibition, and primarily focuses on interpreting the history and science of making whiskey.
The Whiskey Smash is a fundraiser that benefits the nonprofit mission of West Overton Village, known for being the ancestral home of Old Overholt Rye Whiskey, often considered the longest enduring American Whiskey with an unbroken chain of ownership, production or sale - now produced by Beam Suntory. West Overton Village’s historic site, museum, and educational distillery invite visitors to discover the heritage of whiskey production at West Overton and across Pennsylvania.

Two ticket options are available:
General Admission - $60, includes 2 drink tickets (cocktails, beer, and wine, cash bar also available) and unlimited samples, along with a commemorative rocks glass featuring a historic whiskey label.
VIP Admission - $120, includes unlimited drinks and samples, VIP hour from 5 - 6 p.m., along with a commemorative rocks glass and tasting glass both featuring a historic whiskey label.
This event is for persons 21 years of age or older, valid ID required.
