
For eight generations the Brant family has been tapping trees and producing 100% pure, single source maple syrup and maple products at their 300 acre sugar camp and maple tree farm.
Visit this sweet stop in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands and enjoy a tour of the family-run sugar camp located in Shanksville, just 10 miles from Flight 93 National Memorial. Take a self-guided tour of the beautiful log sugar camp which includes a maple production interpretive exhibit, orientation video and antique farm equipment display. Learn the history of maple production and view today's tools like the evaporator, reverse osmosis machine, and more. After the tour, taste the results of the season and take some maple home with you! The self-guided tour takes 30 minutes to complete. There is free admission for self-guided tours, donations are accepted. Brantview Farms Maple Sugar Camp is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 12 - 4 pm; Year round by appointment. Call us to schedule a time to tour if you can't visit during our regular operating hours.
GROUP TOUR INFORMATION
Groups (10+) can experience a guided indoor or outdoor tour of the sugar camp. The outdoor tour includes the indoor tour experience and an open-air wagon ride where visitors can view the maple sugar camp ground operations first-hand. All guided group tours include a live demonstration, sampling experience and maple product sample bag to take home.
