When you book at Buffalo Bill's House, a boutique accommodation, you and your party will have exclusive access to this private home rental and its almost two acres of lush private property. Buffalo Bill's House only books one party at a time (eight guests max), so you will never stay overnight with anyone outside of your booking party.
This historic & charming 112-year old three-story, four-bedroom Queen Anne Victorian home featuring 'period correct' furniture, is located in a quiet neighborhood in Perryopolis, PA (Fayette County), within walking distance to Hazelbaker’s Bottom Yough Outfitters, and Great Alleghany Passage walking & biking trails – mile marker 102.
Guests will also have full use of the kitchen including stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, Keurig (coffee pods, tea, sugar, creamer, & popcorn for your ‘Silence of the Lambs’ watch party included), salt & pepper, cooking oil, cookware, bakeware, dishware, drinkware, utensils, bar tools, marshmallow skewers, outdoor plastic dishware & drinkware, paper towels, kitchen towels, dishwasher, sink and are welcome to buy and bring food to cook. Guests are also permitted to use the charcoal grill outside and marshmallow skewers are even available for making s’mores by the firepit.
This unique property was featured extensively throughout the climactic finale of The Silence of the Lambs starring the Academy Award winning Best Actress, Jodie Foster. The home still features many attributes that have remained unchanged since filming took place 30 years ago! Visitors will find flourishes throughout the house as an homage to the film.
Upstairs, in the attic, guests will find a full retro-inspired game room complete with large screen TV with state of the art surround sound and a selection of movies, a host of classic arcade video games, as well as a pool table that, when flipped over, doubles as an air hockey table.
