La Vigneta Winery

La Vigneta means "the vineyard" in Italian, and in 2011 La Vigneta Winery was established as a small family winery in the basement of a home. Now producing over 35,000 bottles a year, and over 20 varieties, this 17-acre farm is producing an incredible selection of dry red wines, along with seasonal favorites like Apple Pie Wine, Blueberry Cabernet, and Dolce Maria. If you are looking for an afternoon out, consider visiting one of the many events and farmers' markets that they attend throughout the year. Bottles are also available at Caffe Barista in downtown Greensburg, and available in over 22 Giant Eagles and other local retailers.
