Vin De Matrix Winery is inspired by the star Vindemiatrix, the third brightest star located in the Virgo constellation. Its name means “The Grape Gatherer.”
Our winery is a blend of our love for the night sky, enjoyment of outdoor mountain life, and our passion for crafting exceptional artisanal wines. Stellar Wines for Down-to-Earth People: At VDX Winery, we take the personal approach to our hospitality: Our tastings are individualized table side wine flights in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Since our tasting room is an intimate setting, to ensure seating for a flight, we strongly recommend making a reservation. Additionally, we happily open during the week for private appointments.
Vin De Matrix is tucked in the middle of the Laurel Highlands and is just a short, scenic drive from Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob properties, Ohiopyle State Park, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Laurel Hill State Park, the Great Allegheny Passage, Laurel Ridge State Park and the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail.
