GO Laurel Highlands will celebrate fall with a cozy fire, delicious food and some of the best craft beverages available anywhere during the inaugural Bonfires, Barrels & Brews event at Yinzer Valley Farms in Mount Pleasant on Sunday, Nov. 5.
A limited number of tickets are available online for the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour event, which will be held, rain or shine, from noon to 5 p.m. at Yinzer Valley Farms, an event space and cidery located at 681 Mulberry Hill Road in Mount Pleasant. Patrons must be 21 and older.
“This is a great opportunity to sample a variety of delicious craft beers, wines, ciders, meads and spirits from Laurel Highlands Pour Tour makers while enjoying the cozy warmth of a bonfire,” said Jennifer Benford, marketing director for GO Laurel Highlands. “With live music, food trucks, vendors and great company, this event promises to be a Pour Tour event to remember. Don't miss out on the opportunity to taste the best of local beverages and enjoy the atmosphere of the Laurel Highlands countryside. Grab your friends and get ready to raise a glass to good times!”
Bonfires, Barrels & Brews is part of the popular Laurel Highlands Pour Tour, which links nearly 50 craft beverage makers across Fayette, Somerset and Westmoreland counties. Now in its third iteration, the Pour Tour trail showcases the region’s rich heritage, agricultural diversity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
When craft beverage enthusiasts make a qualified purchase, they receive a sticker from the beverage maker for verification in the passport or they can submit a photo to the digital app to qualify for prizes from GO Laurel Highlands.
A Pour Tour event passport sticker is included with a $40 Bonfires, Barrels & Brews ticket along with a long-sleeved T-shirt, tasting glass and beverage check for purchases as well as access to vendors, food trucks, and live music.
