“Many in our community are familiar with our Wednesday night SupperMarket events” said Spencer Simpson, manager of visitor services at the Lincoln Highway Experience Museum. “Family Night is very much like SupperMarket, but specifically planned with younger families in mind. It’ll be a great way for parents and grandparents to spend an evening out with the kids in a fun outdoor environment.”
The funds raised from Family Night will go toward supporting two nonprofit organizations.
“The parking fee with help support the ongoing mission of the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor to preserve and promote Lincoln Highway resources in our six county heritage region,” says Simpson. “The proceeds from the American Legion Auxiliary sales will go toward purchasing a new van for veterans through PA Hero Walk.”
PA Hero Walk is a 320-mile fundraising walk across Pennsylvania to help Pennsylvania Veterans in need with basic necessities such as utility bills and housing.
The cost is $5 per car for admission. Additional cost for food purchased from chef’s booth. Tables are limited, so it is suggested that attendees also bring chairs or blankets, especially if you will be arriving late. No entry before 4:30 p.m. No outside food or pets are permitted.
