West Overton Distilling
West Overton Village and Museums is proud to announce their new Cherry Bounce in celebration of America's 250th.
Made with rye, cherries, and baking spices, Cherry Bounce is inspired by history. A July 1862 ledger entry shows that Henry S. Overholt purchased whiskey and cherries "to make bounce" in West Overton. In the 18th century, George Washington enjoyed cherry bounce and brought it with him on his travels to western Pennsylvania.
West Overton Distilling's Cherry Bounce Release will be on Wednesday, July 8, at Whiskey Wednesdays from 6 - 8 p.m. The first 250 bottles will feature an exclusive commemorative tag for America’s 250th.

Yellowbridge Brewing Co.
Yellowbridge Brewing Co. teamed up with the Westmoreland Historical Society & Historic Hanna's Town for their newest brew, paying tribute to Historic Hanna's Town. Introducing Hannastown Resolve, Scottish Ale. This clean, copper-colored ale has brilliant clarity and a pleasant caramel and honey-like maltiness in both aroma and flavor, supported by light toastiness. A silky body and lower ABV (4.7%) makes for repeat drinkability.
A special shoutout to local artist James Sabulsky, who created the artwork featured on the label and was the winner of the Westmoreland Historical Society’s "Many Stories: One Place: Westmoreland County Celebrates America at 250" art contest.
