If you're a fan of fall-themed beverages, the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour launched an exclusive fall tour right up your alley: Boos & Brews! The tour begins Oct. 1, and runs until Nov. 30, so you have 8 weeks to complete it. Download the free Laurel Highlands Pour Tour app and check in at 18 of our 40+ locations, and we'll mail you an exclusive Boos & Brews t-shirt!

Boos & Brews Shirt

Yeah, it's pretty cool, right? The t-shirt isn't the only incentive to take on the Boos & Brews tour. Let's chat about some harvest-time drinks that our craft breweries, wineries, distilleries, cidery, and meadery will be pouring for you:

Helltown Brewing

Helltown Brewing

Helltown is celebrating a decade of serving up suds with a collection of 10th anniversary celebration beers. Try new spins on classic recipes with their More Than Mischievous Brown, a spin on their award-winning brown ale, and Big Bad Buffy NEIPA, a souped-up version of the OG Buffy recipe. Collect the whole series with The Temptress Dopplebock and The Helltown 10 Unfiltered Imperial IPA. All are available in cans with exclusive art, making them a perfect addition to your can collection.

Bella Terra Vineyards

Bella Terra Vineyards is also celebrating an anniversary this fall! Their wine has been changing the game for five years, and their unmatched outdoor seating makes it the perfect stop to watch the leaves change. Joining their lineup for Boos & Brews is their Harvest, a sweet cranberry wine available bottled or canned (trust me, canned wine will change your life). Also new for fall 2021 is their Cider House Mule, an easy-sipping cocktail comprised of their Original Cider with gin, ginger beer, and cinnamon.

By the way, Bella Terra and Helltown are teaming up with Tattiebogle CiderWorks this Saturday, Oct. 2 for the Oktoberfest Trifecta event. Bounce around from one location to the other on a bus from noon until 8 p.m. And while cider is always in season, it just hits different during fall!

Whitehorse Brewing

When the Pour Tour takes you out to Somerset County, I can guarantee Whitehorse Brewing in Berlin will top your list of favorite places. Friendly owners are pouring out fresh flavors weekly, and Boos & Brews is no exception. Whitehorse's newest release is their Pat O’Lantern, a wheat ale brewed with pumpkin puree. Make sure to get it on draft and ask for the signature cinnamon sugar rim, the true way to enjoy this Halloween favorite.

Chapel Hill Wines

Chapel Hill Winery

The Boos & Brews micro tour is the perfect reason to get out to Chapel Hill Wines in Dawson, one of the newest locations on the Pour Tour. Known for their excellent Chardonnay and blackberry wines, my recommendation is their Dry Niagara, which cuts the sweetness and uncovers an amazing flavor profile you won’t taste anywhere else. Stick around after your tasting for live music; there’s entertainment almost every weekend!

Laurel Highlands Meadery

Laurel Highlands Meadery

Even our spirits makers are getting in on the fall fun for Boos & Brews! Pumpkin spice mead, yes mead, has hit the taps at Laurel Highlands Meadery. The oldest of alcohols meets the newest of trends and joins an outstanding lineup of traditional flavors that let the flavors of honey and local flowers take center stage. If you’re looking for something else on the wild side, grab an adult version of the childhood staple with their Peanut Butter and Jelly Mead, featuring a blend of honey and concord grapes aged on peanuts.

Remember to use #LHPourTour when you post the photos you've taken on the Boos & Brews tour! Happy spooky sipping, ghouls 'n ghosts!
